Additional Information:
Student Training Fee: €140/season
Full-time undergraduate students at the University of Helsinki, Aalto University, Hanken, and the University of the Arts Helsinki pay the discounted student training fee.
Beginner Training Fee:
Beginners—those who have not yet passed the Kirikami test and therefore are not yet eligible for Kashima-Shinryu Helsinki r.y. membership—only pay this training fee. it is calculated based on their starting month.
Example: If there are three full months left in the current season after starting training, the beginner pays a one-time fee of 3 x €20 = €60 to cover their training fee for that season
After a beginner passes the Kirikami test and applies for membership during a season, their beginner training fee covers training until the end of that season. Regular membership fees begin at the start of the next full training season (Spring: January 1–June 30 Fall: July 1–December 31). Beginners do not pay the Equipment Wear & Tear fee.
Supporting Members:
Members who are not training actively and are participating in training sessions only occasionally may pay, by their own discretion, a discounted Supporting Member training fee. This is equivalent to the beginner’s full season fee (€120/season). This option is typically intended for members who train less frequently than once a month, e.g., members living further off from Helsinki (Turku, Tampere, abroad, etc.)
Not paying Supporting Member fee does not disqualify members from occasional participation in training sessions.
Supporting members also pay the Kashima-Shinryu Helsinki r.y. annual membership fee and the KSSR-BR annual membership fee.
Supporting members do not pay the Equipment Wear & Tear fee.
